The Blog Returns

Happy new year to all our faithful readers!

It has been many moons since we last updated this blog. This is not due to a lack of activity in our household, but rather, to the contrary, because too much has been happening to have time to write it down. (Well, that isn't strictly true... there were some times which were free for blogging, but then we were hampered by a lack of internet connectivity caused by a burned out electrical outlet!) The last event I wrote about was Thanksgiving. Since then Shreya has been on a few trips, met several of her relatives and (our) friends, travelled by train, ridden on laps in automobiles (i.e. without a carseat), been unmoved by her first lunar eclipse, slept through her first solar eclipse, and generally been spoiled silly. We are now back at home, and I for one, am looking forward to the monotony of daycare and playdates.

Over the next few days, we will try to bring the blog up to date. At the moment, our plan is to report events roughly chronologically, but as with many of our plans, it may change at any time. Stay tuned!
